THINKING ABOUT having a GIANT join your family? CLICK AND READ THIS FIRST!

SERVICE DOG & ELDER STATEMAN NEEDS NEW HOME:  Buttons is a trained service dog whose owner passed away recently.  He was returned to his original trainer (who rescued him as a puppy) and she just passed away from cancer.
PUP ALERT:  RADAR AND ANNE (IN FLORIDA) NEED HOMES:  Radar may well be a "miracle dog."  Read about Radar and his friend Annie on their web page.  Anyone who fought this hard to survive deserves a special home.
MINI ON BOARD:  Layla is dreaming of a new home.  She's a little 9 lb. doll.  Can you help?   We've got a sweet one --- check her out on our "Still Looking" page.
HEAT ALERT:  With so much of the country under High Heat Alerts, please be especially watchful that your pets don't suffer from heat stroke.
FOSTER FAMILIES: We need foster families for rescued Giant Schnauzers all over the West Coast! We especially need people with large working breed dog experience who currently have no other pets. Some of our rescues need extra love and human attention to become the best companion dogs. Please contact us if you can help!!

Southern California Giant Schnauzer Rescue
Welcome to Southern California Giant Schnauzer Rescue,  Inc.
Southern California Giant Schnauzer Rescue is a group of dog rescuers who have banded together to help Giant Schnauzers find their forever homes. We also assist the public in learning more about the care and training needs of Giant Schnauzers so that fewer Giant Schnauzers will end up requiring our dog rescue services. We cover Southern California from Bakersfield to the Mexican border, and from the Pacific Ocean east to the Nevada/Arizona state lines.

The number of Giant Schnauzers in dog rescue changes from month to month, but the purpose of this group never does:  Every Giant Schnauzer deserves the chance to experience his own precious Forever Home -- a home where he is loved, respected and well cared for -- a home where this intelligent working dog can love, protect and call his own.

We encourage you to explore our website, to learn more about us, and to find out more about the Giant Schnauzers that we love so much.
